in defense of BOTH arguments, jones youth, size and reach are deadly to a “not getting any younger” silva. his creativity matches if not surpasses silvas.
Silvas weakness has always been wrestlers. not that he cant defend, but you have a better chance if you can get the takedown on him. one of GSP’s biggest strengths as of the last couple of years.

Absolutely. He is especially afraid of GSP now for 2 reasons.
1) He was dominated by fantastic wrestling skills in Chael Sonnen, and GSP has the greatest wrestling in the history of the UFC. GSP’s submission defense is also outstanding.
2) He’s getting old. He doesn’t have the same skills that made him who he is today. 2 or 3 years ago, I would’ve called it a close match, but now, if the fight does happen, we will have a new Middleweight Champion and GSPs new nickname will be “best of all time”.
