Shane Carwin is gonna destroy roy nelson, he’s smarter, he works harder, and he’s in better shape.
Carwin by UD. Conditioning and compromise will be the difference and just by watching the way they are coaching Nelson is Lazy and Carwin is working great very smart and high level workouts. Carwin will beat Nelson and his team will beat Nelson’s if Nelson dont do quick adjustments

not gonna be a huge difference. carwin will be immensly stronger and nelson MIGHT come in a little skinnier. shanes beat better people than him BUT showed a vulnerable chin against jds and gonzaga. i say nelsons only chance is to land a big overhand where as shane can knock fat ass down from any angle. how i see it
I think id be a dumb idea to bet on this fight at this point.. wait till the season starts, examine both fighters mentally, watch the coaches comp to see what kind of shape they are in, I’m on the Carwin train either way guys been my screen saver for years

whoa i got roy via KO his chin and power is crazy plus you gotta think its a 5 rounder shane carwins cardio is not very good and roy well its weird he has good cardio better than shane via KO round 3
I love Carwin but I watched Nelson go the distance with JDS, got hit up by Werdum but still took everything they had. Im going for Shane via decision but Nelson has the best chin I have ever seen. Him and Guida have titanium chins

Nice job capitalizing the names.. Nelson’s last fight was a win and a ‘knockout of the night’. Just about all his fights are exciting. He’s a bit fat and you probably don’t like that, right?
nelson has probably the 3rd heaviest hands in the UFC, one punch and its over.

Dos Santos doesn’t hit hard as Carwin. He has better boxing and good power, but he doesn’t have Carwin’s power.
I know Roy Nelson has an iron chin…but Shane Carwin probably hits harder than any fighter in the UFC, and he could be the second guy to KO Nelson….(lets not forget Arlovski KO’d Nelson back in the day)……and those of you who think Carwin has nothing in the tank after the first round…look at the Dos Santos fight…he was doing fairly well cardio wise throughout all of the rounds…

Nelson will win. Carwin has nothing after the 1st round. I think Nelson is tough an skilled enough to weather the storm.
He’s still a top 15 heavyweight at worst in the UFC .How many heavyweights do you think belong in the UFC?

Junior Dos Santos…. Cro Cop….Werdum has been showing great striking as of late… Any HW can knock a person down with one clean shot to begin with.
Roy hasn’t faced anyone who hits hard as Carwin yet.
